JACEK MACHOCKI
President of the Management Board
Jacek Machocki has a rich experience in designing and implementing solutions in the area of business strategy and management, marketing, designing, implementing and management of logistics chains and networks, management of human resources as well as leadership and communication.
He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (i.e. SGH, former SGPiS) – transport economics at the Internal Trade Department, and finance at the Foreign Trade Department. He expanded his professional knowledge at courses and trainings in the area of management, both in Poland and abroad, among others: Strategic Management and Planning (Chalmers University of Technology – Geteborg / Sweden) and Strategy Implementation (Stanford University – CA / USA; e-learning).
He embarked on his professional career in 1977 at the Auto Transport Institute as the assistant in the Forwarding Division. In the 1980s he held managerial positions at PEKAES Auto Transport SA. At the beginning of 1990, he set up the first foreign-capital transport firm in Poland which he headed uninterruptedly until 2004 as the President of the Management Board. During that time he managed the development and current operations of the enterprise and supervised subsequent transformations of the organization as a result of national and international mergers (SCANPOL > SCANSPED > SCHENKER).
His most prominent professional achievement was creating from scratch an economic organization, and establishing Schenker company among the top largest and most dynamically developing firms in the TFL sector.

MAŁGORZATA ADAMSKA

Małgorzata Adamska has an extensive managerial experience in building, optimization and management of complex business processes. She has been involved in the TFL sector, client-side, for 16 years.
Małgorzata Adamska started her professional career in 1980 in the Foreign Trade Enterprise UNITRA, to continue it in Pierwszy Komercyjny Bank SA. In years 1993 – 2009 she worked for Philip Morris Polska where, among others, she was in charge of a multi-stage process of creating and transforming tobacco products distribution, the customer service, and the optimization of business processes. In the Kraków-based tobacco factory owned by Philip Morris International (PMI), she was managing the maintenance support of production, the execution of high value investment projects and procurement services delivered to all PMI companies located in Poland. She planned and managed the implementation of cigarettes import and distribution system in Philip Morris Croatia.
Małgorzata Adamska is a graduate of the Precision Mechanics Faculty at the Warsaw University of Technology. She completed a postgraduate study in Logistics Management at the Warsaw School of Economics and a number of trainings organized, among others, by Management Centre Europe and INSEAD, Fontainebleau dedicated to people management, strategy development and development of supply chain elements.
Małgorzata Adamska is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept in accordance with of the Act on the National Court Register (KRS).

Robert Koński
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Born in 1966. Graduate of John F. Kennedy School of Government (MPA) at Harvard University, and Tufts University (BA) in the United States. From 2010 to February 2012 President of the Management Board at KH Logistyka Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka komandytowa. Appointed a as Member of the Management Board, Chief Operating Officer at Kulczyk Holding S.A. in June 2008. For the previous six years involved with Euronet Worldwide, Inc. first as the country manager for Poland, then as the Regional Director. Before that time, he was a partner at Amrop Hevr Group (executive search company) and a consultant at Egon Zehnder International. He also served as Fixed Income Manager with IB Austria Securities S.A.
In years 1990-1995, as an advisor to the Minister of Finance (between the term of office of Leszek Balcerowicz and Grzegorz Kołodko) he worked on the transformation and restructuring of the Polish Financial Sector; he was also member of the team negotiating an agreement with the London Club.
He sits on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland; he is a Vice-president of the Harvard Club in Poland and a member of the Polish branch of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
He is chairman of the Supervisory Board at POCH SA and a member of the Supervisory Board at Family Finance SA. Also, since 14 February 2012 a member of the Management Board of Rafako S.A.
Robert Koński does not run any kind of activities competitive to PEKAES S.A. He is not personally, factually or organizationally related with a Company’s shareholder who has the right to exercise 5 or more per cent of the total number of votes at the General Meeting of PEKAES S.A.

Przemysław Schmidt
Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board
(b. 1962) – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TRIGON Dom Maklerski S.A., the oldest Polish securities brokerage and investment banking firm. In the years 1997-2000, he was a Senior Vice President (Business Development), General Counsel and Secretary of @Entertainment Inc., the largest pay-TV company in Central and Eastern Europe and the first NASDAQ –listed company in the region. He was also the President of Wizja TV, its DTH subsidiary. Previously (1995-97), he was a Country Director for Poland of MeesPierson, an investment-banking firm (currently ABN AMRO). He began his career as an attorney with the newly created Warsaw law firm Soltysinski, Kawecki & Szlezak (1990-95), as well as an Assistant Professor at the Business Law Department of A. Mickiewicz University (1987-92).
Mr. Schmidt gained a summa cum laude Master of Law degree at the School of Law, A. Mickiewicz University in Poznan (1987) and attended postgraduate studies at the University of California, Hastings (Fulbright Scholar 1991-92), at Georgetown University, Leiden University and the TMC Asser Institute in the Hague (Asser College Europe).
He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), where he served as the Chairman of the European Board (2007-2009). He was a member of the boards of directors of several public companies. Currently he is a board member (audit committee) of AmRest SE, Sygnity SA and United Way Poland (Fundacja Wspolna Droga). He does not run any activities competitive to PEKAES SA. He is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.

Born in 1978. A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Also studied at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since 2008 an employee of Kulczyk Holding SA. In years 2004-2008 he worked for Sovereign Capital SA where he was involved in a number of projects related to financial and operating restructuring of enterprises. Before that he spent two years working in the real estate sector in the USA.
At Kulczyk Holding he is a Project Manager supervising infrastructure and logistics undertakings. He is responsible for investment analysis and supervision of efficient execution of transactions. Also studied in the prestigious international school for business leaders, IESE Business School of the University of Navarra in Barcelona and the Academy of Banking and Insurance in Warsaw. He was a co-originator of the modern business media market in Poland. A journalist with many-years experience, chief editor of leading Polish economic papers. A distinguished manager of the media market, a TV publicist and a host of international conferences and seminars. Since October 2007 a Director of Corporate Communications and International Relations at Kulczyk Holding S.A. In years 2005 -2007 he was involved with ‘Gazeta Prawna’, initially as the 1st deputy, and from the 1st November 2005, the chief editor. An author of a complex concept of a substantive and graphic redesign of the paper. Within two years he made ‘Gazeta Prawna’ the most prominent economic daily, the most valuable source of information for managerial personnel. In years 2004-2005 he was chief editor of a weekly magazine ‘Newsweek Polska’.
In years 1996-2004 a co-author of an economic paper ‘Puls Biznesu’, its 1st deputy and later - for a period of five years - the chief editor. He was in charge of preparing and implementing a refreshed layout of the paper which was later awarded the title of ‘the world’s best-designed newspaper’. In 2001 the newspaper received the title of ‘National Daily Newspaper of the Year’. Between 1991 and 1996 he was an editor and publicist with ‘Gazeta Bankowa’. In years 1990 - 1991 a parliamentary commentator for ‘Nowa Europa’ daily newspaper. In 1990 he underwent a traineeship at the biggest Belgian newspaper ‘Le Soir’. He is a regular economic commentator at PIN Radio and Polish Radio 3. During a period of three years he was a co-author and a host of a regular economic program ‘ Puls, Biznes and Giełda‘ on Polsat TV. In 2003 he was awarded the title of Chief Editor of the Year by ‘Media and Marketing’ magazine. He is a member of the Capital Market Leaders Academy and a member of the Board at ‘Przychodnia Association’. Born in 1944. A graduate of the Higher School of Economics in Cracow (present-day Cracow University of Economics) and the University of Warsaw, Faculty of African Studies. Since July 2008 he has worked for KG Business Consultancy. Since the same year he has also been an Internal Auditor with UFTAA (United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations) in Monaco. In years 1991-2008 he was First Vice President of Orbis SA. From 2004 responsible for legal and corporate issues, investor relations, corporate PR and risk management. From 1991 in charge of global sales and marketing, restructuring and privatization (IPO) and central level trainings at Orbis SA. Between 1984 and 1991 Deputy Managing Director of Państwowe Przedsiębiorstwo Orbis where he was responsible for international incoming and outgoing tourism, personnel and employee trainings and where he performed owner supervision of foreign entities. Also he was in charge of sales and marketing department. From 1978 involved with the Tourism Enterprises Corporation Orbis’ where he held a position of Director of Orbis Information Centre in Paris. His duties included promotion of Polish tourism in France and Spain and cooperation with French and Spanish travel agencies. In years 1972-1978 he cooperated with the Polish Travel Bureau Orbis as Commercial Director in charge of outgoing and incoming tourism as well as sales and marketing. From 1966 he performed Deputy General Manager duties with Almatur Travel Agency. Piotr Rutkowski
Born in 1962. Graduate from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics in Moscow. Manager with extensive experience. Started his professional career in PLL LOT as manager of connections with Northern African countries. In 1991 he went on to work for the Danish group A.P. Moller where he went through all career levels starting from the sales position dedicated to the leading shipping company Maersk Line. In 1995 he assumed the position of Director Maersk Line for Poland. After 5 years at Maersk Line he went on to work for the sister company of Maersk Logistics as General Director and President of the Management Board. In year 2006 he became President of Maersk Polska, the company representing interests of Maersk SeaLand – the largest shipping line in the world which was formed by the merger between Maersk Line and the American-flag shipping firm Sealand. While performing his duties related with the position held in Poland, from 2005 he also served as CEE Sales and Development Director for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
In 2008 he joined the pharmaceutical industry to work as Management Board member at ACP Pharma and President of the Management Board at CEFARM Rzeszów. In ACP Piotr Rutkowski’s duties included the management of the wholesale line (turnover of 2 billion zlotys, 1 200 employees, daily sales and deliveries to c.a. 300 pharmacies and over 250 hospitals). Today ACP is part of the Dutch joint stock company MEDIQ.
Piotr Rutkowski also worked on the development of the pharmaceutical distribution activity at Healthmore, a subsidiary of ACP Pharma, where he served as Director and Management Board Member of Healthmore.
In February 2012 Piotr Rutkowski assumed the position of Managing Director for Northern and Eastern Europe (NEE) with APL NOL seated in Copenhagen, the provider of global sea cargo container services. Under the brand of APL Logistics, NOL - which offers the advanced logistics solutions - is not present on any markets in the NEE region, and its logistics activity is not within the scope of Mr. Rutkowski’s area of responsibilities.
He does not run any activities competitive to PEKAES SA. He is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
