KRZYSZTOF ZDZIARSKI - CEO

Krzysztof ZdziarskiKrzysztof Zdziarski is 45 years old and for almost 20 years he has been connected with the logistic – shipping trade, both from the side of the client, as well as the service provider. He has complex knowledge in the scope of advanced logistic solutions, management of the range of deliveries, with specialization in freight, general cargo, express, courier transport and warehouse logistics at his disposal. He has rich experience in integration and management of change, supported by successes achieved in work for such concerns as IPEX, EMI, and UPS for the last 7 years. His task consists in management of the PEKAES Group, known Polish supplier of integrated transportation and logistic services in Europe. Krzysztof Zdziarski is a dynamic manager, strongly focused on the needs of Clients and the market, development and results of the company, as well as employees. His professional career began in 1987 in Plastics Kanada in Toronto and continued in IPEX, where he in turn occupied managerial positions, starting with Production and Logistics Manager, Project Manager up to Operating Manager responsible for complex logistic projects. Having returned to Poland in 1996, he took up work as Operating Manager of Pomaton EMI, supervising the formation of the distribution - joint venture company between Pomaton, Sony Music and Polygram, which he then managed as General Manager.

The years 1999 – 2006 in Krzysztof Zdziarski’s professional career is a period of work for the biggest transportation company United Parcel Service, first on the position of Operating Manager and General Manager from 2001. He managed UPS in a period of intensive development of the company in Poland, supervised the project of taking over and integration with PPS Polkurier /the years 1999 – 2001/, adapted the company to the changes on the market connected with Poland’s accession to the EU as far as operations and products are concerned and following acquisition of the Stolica Messenger Service courier company he again carried out the project of operating and product merging of two companies /the years 2005 – 2006/. Since 2005 he has been responsible in UPS also for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Krzysztof is a graduate of the Warsaw University, the Faculty of Economics and Management. In the years 1993 - 1996 he participated in the Post-graduate Studies in Humber College and the Rayerson Polytechnic University in Toronto – specialization in Marketing Management, Project Management and Quality Assurance Programs.

JACEK HAWLICZEK - CFO

Jacek HawliczekJacek Hawliczek is 38 years old and is a valuable manager, specialized for almost 15 years in building and managing effective financial policy. He holds documented and confirmed by reference letters experience within strategic approach towards area of finance.
In 1994 Mr. Hawliczek started professional carrier in the department of audit of Price Waterhouse. In 1996 – 1998 he was financial manager of Kerry Polska, responsible for financial processes, planning, controlling and group reporting as well as effective sources of financing the purchase of raw material. In 1998 – 2006 he was financial manager of UPS, responsible for implementation of system of managerial accounting, budgeting and reporting, centralizing the settlements with suppliers and branches, centralizing billing, implementation of accounting, pay and settlement systems.
In 2006 – 2008 Mr. Hawliczek was managing financial-bookkeeping department of Makro Cash and Carry; there he was responsible for formation and supervision of processes and systems related to cooperation with suppliers, optimizing internal processes, development of electronic communication.
Jacek Hawliczek, apart from knowledge and strictly financial experience also has skill to manage huge groups of people, which he was mastering among others as participant of training program: Supervisor Leadership School in Germany.
Hawliczek studied at the Faculty of Foreign Trade of Warsaw’s School of Economics.

JACEK PRZYBYŁOWSKI - Vice-President, Trade Director

Jacek Przybylowski - 41 years of age, 13 out of which he has been involved with TSL sector. In 1999  he graduated from SGGW (Warsaw Agricultural University Agricultural University), which was followed by additional educational courses and trainings in trade and management. Among various and numerous he took part in SPIN series, SPIN Update, SPIN Coaching, and Marketing Workshops, Business Consultants University, Account Strategy for Major Sales, Delivering of Business Results, Situational Sales Negotiations, Supervisor Leadership School along with training programs in media and communication.
Jacek Przybylowski started his professional career as sales representative in Agencja PRO Warszawa Sp. z o.o., working there form 1991 to 1993. Next two years were devoted to ROLBO Warszawa Sp. z o.o

A drawing point in his career is definitely a successful integration of Stolica and UPS sales structures, the building of modern client relation model and introduction of UPS Polska into the country leadership position in parcel distribution. UPS welcomed Przybylowski in 1994 to guide him through all consecutive posts of trade team, marketing director, sales, marketing and customer service director and finally trade director. 

As of 1 February 2007 Jacek Przybylowski takes the post of Trade Director of PEKAES SA. Jacek Przybylowski takes the function of Sales and Marketing Division  Management Board Vice-President  on 1 August 2007.

Jacek Przybylowski does not have any other economical activity run outside of PEKAES SA, does not take part in any other competitive company as a partner of any sort of company nor is he a member of body of capital group. He does not participate in any legal or private body as its member.
Jacek Przybylowski is not written in the Register of Insolvent Debtors run on the basis of Act on KRS (National Court Register). 

Paweł Borys - President of the Supervisory Board

Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, major in Finances and Banking, specialization in International Financial Markets. In the years 2001 – 2005 he was the employee of the Capital Markets Chair at the School of Economics where he carried out research and work on the PhD thesis in the scope of finances. Author of press publications and articles on the capital market, investment funds and the process of economic convergence. Participant of professional courses and programs within finances and investments. Investment Manager since August 2005 and Vice President of the AKJ Capital S.A. Board since February 2007, responsible for capital investments of the company from different sectors of economy. His competences cover: supervision over the investment process, covering analysis and selection of investment projects, preparation of assumptions of the investment project, optimization of the financing structure and coordination of realization of investment projects of the private equity type. He is also responsible for the corporation order and supervision in companies from the investment portfolio.
In the years 2001 – 2005 he acted as Financial Analyst and Manager of Share Investment funds in DWS Polska TFI S.A. and Deutsche Asset Management S.A. from the Deutsche Bank Group, managing the share investment funds, and directly of shares amounting to 800 million PLN. Vice Investment Manager from 2003 to July 2005 and then Manager of the Investment Department in DWS Polska TFI S.A., being responsible for investment of assets of the value of 2 billion PLN, collected in 14 investment funds. In the years 2002 – 2003 also responsible for product management in DWS Polska TFI S.A., including successful introduction of two investment funds onto the market. Before 2001 employed as Financial Analyst in Erste Bank, where he was responsible for the analysis and valuation of companies, first public offers and economic analyses. In addition, from 2004 Member of the Stock Exchange Indices Committee by the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In 2002 expert in McKinsey & Company within the „Success Plan” project, covering supervision and advising in forming the strategy and business plan for chosen companies. In 2002 visiting lecturer in the Academy of Finance. Foreign languages: English, German.

Krzysztof Rutkowski - Vice President of the Supervisory Board

Professor of the Warsaw School of Economics, Manager of the Warsaw School of Economics Chair of Logistics. Member and lecturer at the Community of European Management Schools and lecturer at the University of Minnesota. Author of more than 100 scientific works in logistics and management. Representative of Poland in numerous international logistic expert bodies and independent expert and advisor in many institutions, as well as country and international companies in the scope of management, particularly logistic management. In the years 1993 – 1996 Pro – Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics
dealing in research and cooperation with foreign countries and Member of the Community of European Management Schools Board in the years 1995 – 1996. In the period from 1999 to 2002 Chairman of the Board of The Polish Main Logistic Society and Member of the Committee dealing in Research and Development of European Logistic Society in the years 1998 – 2003. Specialization: logistic and range of delivery management, international and global logistics, logistics and modern management concepts, modern technologies in range of delivery management, virtual networks and air/sea policy. Markus Hoyer - Member of the Supervisory Board

Graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University in Bayreuth in Germany with specialization in organization and marketing. Post-graduate studies finished with the degree being the equivalent of MBA. Presently co-owner of the Sixtytwo International Consultants consulting company specializing in strategic advising and consulting for Polish companies entering the European Union market and foreign companies entering the Polish market and other Central – Eastern European countries. In the years 2001 – 2005 consultant and manager in McKinsey & Company office in Warsaw responsible, among others, for working out the growth technology in the segment of new technologies and definition of possibilities of seizing the synergy between different business areas for a media company, preparing the new strategy for the east European telecommunication operator facing market liberalization, designing and initiating a complex program of reduction of operating costs in all units of a big petrochemical company, strengthening the strong position of the Polish telecommunication company in the business client segment, modification of the new business offer
of a telecommunication operator from the point of view of increasing its profitability, preparing and initiating the growth strategy for the retail client segment of an average size Polish bank, initiating the structure of ownership supervision and new organization of a Polish insurance company. From 1997 to 2000 managing the Procter & Gamble brand in Germany, and from 1999 responsible for marketing and management of products of the biggest brand of the Procter & Gamble company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among others, responsible for the preparation of advertising campaigns in television, radio, press and billboards for different brands in the FMCG segment, preparing projects of qualitative and quantitative market research in the scope of brand knowledge, brand image and consumer behaviors, and later analyses of the results and transferring them onto new business strategies for different consumption goods, optimization of the mediumistic-communication strategy for some FMCG brands in order to reach the target receiver and increase the efficiency of expenses for the information campaign. Grzegorz Zawada - Member of the Supervisory Board

Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of International Economic Relations. Title of MBA at the University of Minnesota and licensed CFA analytical analyst. Post-graduate Study of Capital Investments at the Warsaw School of Economics finished in 1999. Presently Member of the Board and Financial Manager of the Erste Securities Polska S.A Financial House. Earlier Manager of the Analyses Department in Erste Securities Polska, responsible for managing the works of the department and analysis, as well as valuating companies quoted on the Stock Exchange in Warsaw and other Central-Eastern Europe markets, among others, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Estonia. Actively engaged in cooperation with country and foreign investors and projects in the scope of financial advising. In the years 1999–2000 Senior Associate in the international advisory company
Deloitte&Tousche in the Financial Advising Department. Responsible for the realization of advising projects for foreign clients interested in investing in Polish companies. Among others, he advised such companies as Deutsche Lufthansa, Grupa CTL Logistics or Skanska. From 1997 to 1999 Capital Investment Manager in the Second National Investment Fund. Earlier, in the years 1996 – 1997 investment analyst in Hevelius Management, company managing the II NFI. Responsible for the analysis of the current situation in portfolio companies and new investment projects. Member of Supervisory Boards: presently Ponar Wadowice S.A., in the years 1998 – 1999 in the Fabryka Armatury i Odlewni Węgierska Górka S.A., in the years 1998 – 1999 TPBP TARBUD S.A. Marek Wierzbowski

Born in 1946, professor of Warsaw University, legal counsel, partner in legal office Prof. Marek Wierzbowski Radcowie Prawni Spółka Partnerska. Prof. Wierzbowski is a member of Council of Public Tenders, member of Central Commission on Scientific Degrees and Titles, Vice-chairman of Council of Giełda Papierów Wartościowych S.A., member of supervisory boards of a couple of companies, president of Court of Brokerage Houses Chamber.

Prof. Wierzbowski was Vice-Dean of Department of Law and Administration as well as Vice-president of Warsaw University; he was Chairman of Council of Giełda Papierów
Wartościowych S.A. as well as Vice-chairman of Court of Arbitration at Polish Chamber of Commerce. Prof. Wierzbowski provided lectures as visiting professor for the period of at least one semester at departments of law at American universities. For several years he fulfilled the function of senior partner in international law offices: Weil Gotshal & Manges and then Linklaters. Mr. Wierzbowski represented Commission of Securities and Stock Exchanges as well as Commission of Banking Supervision in proceedings before Supreme Administrative Court. He does not operate activity competitive to PEKAES SA in any form. He is not entered into the Register of Bad Debtors.

Grzegorz Szatkowski


Born in 1970, graduate of Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Department of Foreign Trade. Participant of international courses in the scope of marketing, finance and investment.
Mr. Grzegorz Szatkowski has many years of experience within investment banking and private equity investments.

Since 2003 he has been advisor within private equity investments for Geting Holding and AKJ Capital, responsible among others for transactions of acquisition of GBG Bank and Bank Przemysłowy by Getin, formation of Open Finance, corporative supervision over Carcade Russia. In AKJ Capital Mr. Szatkowski is responsible for private equity transactions.
In 1997 – 2003 he was working for Merrill Lynch, initially in investment banking division and then in private equity division. During this time he was liable among others for acquisition of Domient Bank, second phase of privatization of Bank PEKAO SA and privatizations of Banca Comerciale Romana. In 1995 – 1996 he was working for KN Wasserstein and Chase Fund Management as investment analyst.
Mr. Szatkowski started his professional career in 1992 in Ernst&Young, at the position of consultant. Foreign languages: English, Russian and French. He does not operate activity competitive to PEKAES SA in any form. He is not entered into the Register of Bad Debtors.
