Domestic and international groupage service

Groupage shipment is a load of the weight amounting up to 3 thousand kg, maximum volume of 10 m³, maximum length 2,4 m. The transport of such a shipment does not occupy the cargo space of the whole vehicle and permits the reduction of transportation costs thanks to the consolidation of many single shipments.

Elements of groupage service:

collecting the loads at the suppliers’ and delivering them to the collective terminal,
consolidation of shipments in the terminal according to the place of designation,
loading onto the line general cargo car,
transport from the collective to the receiving terminal and unloading,
shipment monitoring,
delivering shipments to receivers.

In the case of international transports, customs clearances are another element of the service – export and import clearances performed in the place of loading or unloading or in trans-shipment terminals.
